Invesco Real Estate has acquired a 526,736 sq ft unit at Midlands Logistics Park in Corby on behalf of a German separate account mandate for an undisclosed price.

The logistics facility, which was built in 2020 and has achieved EPC A and BREEAM In Construction Very Good ratings, is occupied by Europa Worldwide Group.

The acquisition of the facility follows a number of transactions in the European logistics sector for Invesco Real Estate, which remains active in the market.

Marco Zanandrea, director, investments UK and Nordics at Invesco Real Estate, said: “The East Midlands has firmly established itself as a key strategic hub for third-party logistics and we have strong conviction in its continued growth over the coming years. Europa Park presents a rare opportunity to acquire a high quality, long-leased asset at an attractive entry basis, delivering day one accretive cash-on-cash returns alongside a compelling long term reversionary profile.”

Invesco was advised by Tribridge and Savills and SBY Real Estate advised the vendor.
