Colliers has appointed Jonathan Cook as head of its Manchester office. He succeeds Dominic Pozzoni, who will continue in his role as head of national offices.
Cook will continue to work within the national offices team in Manchester, supporting clients while providing dedicated leadership for the Manchester office and helping to drive the firm’s growth ambitions across the North West.
Cook said: “I’m excited to take on the role of head of Manchester. Having spent my career in the city, I’ve seen first-hand how Manchester has evolved into one of the UK’s most important business and property markets. It’s a city with a huge amount of energy, ambition and opportunity, and Colliers has built a fantastic reputation here over many years.
“We have a talented team, strong client relationships and an excellent platform to build from. I’m looking forward to working with colleagues across the business to build on that success, bring fresh ideas to the table and drive the office forward. There’s a real opportunity to make a meaningful difference, both for our people and our clients.
John Munday, chief executive officer, UK at Colliers, added: “Our ‘ever forward’ strategy is about continually evolving our business to ensure we are best placed to support our clients, attract talent and respond to changing market conditions. In order to continue to evolve, Colliers needs to be a connected, collaborative business that brings together the strength of our teams across the UK and ensures every office has a clear voice in shaping our future direction. Manchester is a hugely important part of that vision, strong local leadership is critical as we grow.
“This change also enables Dominic to dedicate his full attention to his role as head of national offices, where he continues to play a critical role in shaping our national strategy. Having dedicated leadership across both areas will allow us to maintain momentum and continue delivering for our clients and our people.”
“Jonathan’s appointment reflects Colliers’ confidence in the long-term prospects of Manchester and the wider North West, and reinforces the firm’s commitment to investing in the people, expertise and leadership needed to support clients across one of the UK’s most active property markets.”
