Lands Improvement has acquired the freehold interest in a 551-acre site at Dunton Hills, Essex, alongside an option agreement for a further 6.47 acres.
The site has a resolution to grant planning permission from Brentwood Borough Council for a 3,700-home community with a GDV in excess of £480m, which was secured by CEG.
Lands Improvement will assume a master developer role at the site, delivering infrastructure and selling serviced land to housebuilders and developers over a 12-year period.
Delivered in five phases, the neighbourhoods will offer a mix of housing types and tenures including private homes for sale, single-family build-to-rent, affordable homes and care homes.
