Landsec has completed 88,000 sq ft of new lettings, renewals and upsizing deals across its Victoria office portfolio.
Ashmore Group is relocating its UK headquarters from Aldwych to circa 18,500 sq ft at 16 Palace Street; at 123 Victoria Street, a global investment manager has increased its footprint across Landsec’s Victoria portfolio to more than 100,000 sq ft by taking 10,000 sq ft of ‘Created’ space – Landsec’s fitted workspace offering; at 100 Victoria Street, a fintech company has agreed to take an additional 19,800 sq ft; and at 62 Buckingham Gate, Mediobanca has extended its lease for a further 10 years.
Following completion of these deals, office space across Landsec’s Victoria portfolio is now 100% full and to meet growing demand, the company is progressing the delivery of Thirty High (pictured), which will deliver an additional 300,000 sq ft of Grade A workspace.
Oliver Knight, head of workplace at Landsec, said: “Landsec has been pivotal in transforming Victoria into a leading destination for business over the years and we are pleased to see our offices continue to attract some of London’s most exciting financial and technology companies. This momentum highlights the strong and sustained demand for high quality sustainable offices, in amenity-rich locations, as we work closely with occupiers to create spaces that meet their individual needs and support their expansion plans.”
