BE News’ Spotlight on Data Centres is taking place in London from 16:30 to 19:00 on Wednesday 26 March at insight-led strategic communications consultant SEC Newgate’s office at 14 Greville St, London EC1N 8SB.

Siobhan Nagle will be delivering the keynote speech at the agenda-setting event, which is sponsored by ‘Hydrock, now Stantec’, Linesight and Tritax and will be attended by up to 80 leading figures from across the data centres sector and built environment industry.

During her speech, the managing director of Digital Infrastructure EMEA will draw on a wealth of experience gained from a long and distinguished career during which she has held senior leadership roles at major telecommunications companies (NTL, now Arqiva and Virgin), financial institutions (Anglo Irish Bank) and data infrastructure companies (Amazon Web Services, Equinix, Pure Data Centres Group). Nagle will also set out where she believes the key opportunities – and challenges – lie for the sector now prime minister Sir Keir Starmer has put it at the heart of the government’s growth agenda.

Her speech will be followed by a one-hour Question Time-style panel debate, featuring: Peter Sibley, divisional director (nuclear) at Hydrock, now Stantec; Diarmaid Connolly, director, cost management at Linesight; Tim O’Reilly, director of strategic power at Tritax Management; Roelof Opperman, founder & CEO of CogNovum; Brian Moorhead, grid services director at Advanced Electricity Networks; and Nancy Lamb who heads up the digital infrastructure team at arch.law. Nagle will also be participating in the panel debate, during which we will be assessing the data centres sector’s prospects and exploring the question: ‘How do we power up the sector’s ambitions?’

During the must-attend event, guests will also have the opportunity to network with some of the most dynamic figures from across the data centres sector and built environment industry.
