Law firm Proskauer has signed for 60,000 sq ft at Stanhope and Mitsubishi Estate London’s 8 Bishopsgate development.

Proskauer is relocating from its current home at 110 Bishopsgate to the 22-25 levels of the building. Infrastructure engineering software company Bentley Systems has also signed a lease for the 43rd floor of the building, which is now 75% let or under offer.

Steven Davis, partner and co-head of the London office of Proskauer Rose, said: “Our growth in London has been strategic and carefully focussed and with over 150 lawyers and counting we are excited to move to our new premises. 8 Bishopsgate is the ideal space for us as we continue to expand and attract top-tier talent and invest in our future operations.”

Shinichi Kagitomi, managing director of Mitsubishi Estate London, added: “Securing Proskauer as a tenant at 8 Bishopsgate is a testament to the building’s appeal and the exceptional office environment it offers. We are delighted to welcome Proskauer to our tenant community and believe their presence will further enhance the building’s reputation as a premier destination for world-class organisations.”

David Camp, chief executive of Stanhope, said: “Securing Proskauer Rose as a tenant at 8 Bishopsgate marks a significant achievement for us. Their decision to choose our building as their new headquarters further validates its appeal as a top-tier destination for leading businesses. Our vision to deliver a high quality floor plate, with a curated mix of amenity that appeals to the end user who benefit from views across Central London is attracting a great mix of occupiers.”

Proskauer Rose was advised by Cushman & Wakefield. Knight Frank and BH2 acted for Stanhope/MEL.
