L&G has appointed Steph Moore from JLL as head of property operations in the company’s asset management business.
Moore spent 20 years at JLL in its property and asset management business and most recently served as L&G’s contract director.
In her new role, Moore will drive L&G’s relationships with key property management partners, continue to evolve Vizta – L&G’s digital business-to-business platform dedicated to supporting its occupiers – and support wider real estate growth within the company’s private markets platform.
Mark Tyson, who previously served as head of asset services and operations, is leaving L&G to take up a new role as managing director of Bellrock’s intelligent asset care business unit. He will also become a member of Bellrock’s executive leadership team.
Michael Barrie, head of real estate, asset management, at L&G, said: “I am delighted to welcome Steph to L&G’s real estate team. Steph’s extensive industry expertise and demonstrated leadership in the success and growth of JLL’s partnership with L&G render her an incredibly valuable asset to the business.
“She will play a key role in delivering the long-term ambitions of our growing real estate platform, and I am confident that this appointment and Steph’s strong knowledge of the business will strengthen our operational excellence. I wish Mark the best in his new position, and look forward to our continued partnership with Bellrock, which Mark will remain a part of in his new role.”
Moore added: “I am excited to have joined L&G’s asset management business, working alongside a driven and innovative team within its real estate platform. I hope to support growth and commercial momentum within private markets, by fostering and strengthening L&G’s relationships with our property management partners and evolving our occupier support platform, Vizta. Having worked closely alongside L&G in my previous role, I have a strong awareness of the business’s model and partnerships, and I look forward to leveraging this in my new position.”
