UK-based life sciences company Aureum Diagnostics has signed for 6,405 sq ft of workspace at Maxim Park, Eurocentral.

Currently based at Maxim 1, Aureum will shortly move into its new home at Maxim 10, which is located between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The move into Maxim 10 allows Aureum to build out a GMP-compliant manufacturing facility, designed to ensure products are consistently manufactured to the required quality, safety, and performance standards.

Tessa Ogle, CEO of Aureum, said: “Our expansion to Maxim 10 marks an exciting new chapter for the business. The new facility gives us the room to build out GMP manufacturing and scale up production as we move into commercial supply, supported by our current investment round. Just as importantly, it lets us grow our team and create high quality life sciences jobs here in Scotland, while staying close to the talent and partners that have helped us get this far. We’re proud to be putting down deeper roots between Glasgow and Edinburgh.”

Caroline Baillie, director of park services at Maxim Park, said: “We are delighted to see Aureum Diagnostics commit to a new 10‑year lease at Maxim 10 as they continue to grow their presence on the park. Their expansion is a fantastic vote of confidence in our community, and we are proud to support an innovative company that is pushing boundaries in accessible diagnostics. Their decision to expand here reflects the strength of our location and the quality of the environment we strive to provide for innovative organisations. We look forward to supporting Aureum as they advance their work in the years ahead.”

Andy Cunningham, from MC2, which alongside CBRE represented the landlord on the letting, said: “With good occupancy already achieved and 70% of the space let, Maxim Park continues to see strong interest from a range of occupiers. With an expanding life sciences base at Maxim, Aureum has committed to yet more space on the park, which highlights the appeal of the location, high quality facilities, and the confidence businesses have in joining this vibrant community.”
