The London Borough of Newham has put the Grade II listed Debden House and Debden Campsite on the fringes of Epping Forest up for sale.
Debden House, which sits on a circa 3.24-acre site, is a residential conference centre with associated outbuildings and gardens. Currently approved for continued institutional use, Debden House presents the potential for residential or alternative development, subject to planning.
Debden Campsite extends to 45 acres and comprises seven individual fields providing 275 pitches. The site includes 36 electricity hook-ups, a reception/shop and well-maintained amenity buildings featuring toilets, showers, a laundrette and utility areas.
A Lawful Development Certificate, granted in 2022, confirms the land’s lawful use for caravans, motor caravans and tents, and offers scope for further leisure-led investment or enhancement. The properties are available separately or together.
