Plans for a 195,000 sq ft state-of-the art government office hub at the York Central mixed-use development in York have been given the go-ahead.
Joint venture partners the Government Property Agency (GPA), Homes England and Network Rail submitted proposals to deliver the building, which will house up to 2,600 civil servants on completion in 2027/28.
The development, which is the first part of the York Central scheme, includes 135,000 sq ft of flexible office space in addition to ground floor retail and ancillary space.
