Hampshire-based housebuilder Pennyfarthing Homes has submitted a detailed planning application for the next phase of its Sandle Park development, off Whitsbury Road in Fordingbridge.

The application, which follows the approval of the first phase of 74 homes in May last year, proposes the delivery of 100 new homes, 25% of which will be affordable.

The latest phase of development at the site will include 35 single-storey bungalows in addition to a mix of one- to four-bedroom homes.

Nick Stone, land and planning director at Pennyfarthing Homes, said: “The first phase of Sandle Park was met with support from the council, and we are excited to build on that success with this next 100 homes. This phase delivers a carefully crafted mix of homes and green spaces, ensuring Sandle Park meets local needs while enhancing Fordingbridge’s character. Our focus on sustainable design, accessibility and quality materials means this will be a place people are proud to call home.”
