Property Alliance Group and Starwood Capital have received planning permission for a new 50,000 sq ft office building in Deansgate, Manchester.
The five-storey Grade A office, designed by Jon Matthews Architects, forms part of Alliance and Starwood’s £210m GDV redevelopment of the Renaissance site. Work is due to commence in Q1 this year, with OBI appointed on the design and appointed joint agents on the office space with JLL.
The wider masterplan brought forward by Alliance will complete the redevelopment of the area, which was badly damaged by the 1996 IRA bomb attack. Plans for the site include a 224-room Treehouse hotel and 300 luxury residential apartments.
