The freehold of The Priory hotel in Scorton, near Preston in Lancashire, has been put up for sale.
The established hotel provides seven boutique en-suite bedrooms in addition to three apartments and an on-site restaurant and café-bar. The rooms are located on the first and ground floors of the building, parts of which date back to 1650.
The hotel also has a fully-fitted and equipped commercial kitchen and stores, outdoor space that can be used for alfresco dining, and to the rear there is car parking for up to 15 vehicles.
Tom Cunningham, UK regional director, hotel capital markets, at Savills Manchester, which has been appointed to market the opportunity, said: “This is a fantastic boutique hotel in a stunning rural location. It previously had a wedding licence and was an extremely popular small venue, so there is potential to expand the business beyond the current offering.”
