Progressive Living Developments has received planning consent for a major co-living scheme on Gorton Street in Salford.
The proposed Enclave Salford development, which was designed by BDP, is set within the Greengate Regeneration Area and will comprise 568 self-contained studio apartments in addition to a range of on-site amenities including residents lounges, a cinema room, games room and makers space, communal cooking and dining areas, a gym and wellness centre, co-working spaces and meeting rooms.
The 0.42-acre site, which is currently used as a car park, will comprise two rectilinear towers offering 39 and 42 floors. As part of its plans for the site, Progressive Living Developments will transform existing railway arches on the land into space for F&B or lifestyle businesses.

The project team for Enclave Salford also includes Renaissance, Novo, Zerum, OFR, Eddisons, Exterior Architecture, Hydrock, Hann Tucker and ERAP.
