Reef Group and BlackRock Real Estate have completed the first laboratory building at the TRIBECA life science campus in London’s Knowledge Quarter.
The Apex is the first phase of the purpose-built campus and comprises more than 110,000 sq ft of laboratory and office space, set over six floors.
The Francis Crick Institute is supporting 52,000 sq ft of space in the Apex and will offer managed, state-of-the-art labs. The London BioScience Innovation Centre has also signed for 39,000 sq ft of space at The Apex and will provide state-of-the-art scale-up lab facilities.
LBIC will occupy the basement, ground and first two floors of the building, with the ability to provide laboratory support services to all occupiers in the building.
The other buildings due to be delivered in the second and final phase at TRIBECA include Reflector, Assembly and Connector, all of which will offer state-of-the-art lab space.
