Built environment consultancy Ridge has appointed Adam McPartland as a partner to lead and grow its architectural offering in the Midlands.
McPartland, who has 20 years’ experience in architecture and practice leadership, joins Ridge from Glancy Nicholls Architects, where he was managing director.
In his new role, he will be based in Birmingham and will lead the firm’s architectural offer across the Midlands, building relationships with clients, winning and delivering projects, and bringing together its multidisciplinary expertise to create better outcomes for clients and communities.
Liz Sparrow, lead architecture partner at Ridge, said: “Adam will play a key role in growing our architectural presence in the Midlands and strengthening the service we provide to clients across the region. He brings a wealth of experience across residential, higher education and tall building projects, alongside a strong track record of leading successful teams and delivering complex developments.”
McPartland added: “The Midlands has a strong pipeline of development and regeneration projects, and architecture has a vital role to play in shaping sustainable, successful places. Ridge has the people, expertise and ambition to make a real impact in the region. I’m looking forward to growing our architectural presence, strengthening client relationships and delivering projects that create long-term value for communities across the Midlands.”
