Seaforth Land and QuadReal Property Group have completed the first lettings at their Space House office tower in Covent Garden.

Software company Blackline has signed for the 8,066 sq ft seventh floor and a “prominent FTSE 250 company” has taken the 8,093 sq ft sixth floor on a 10-year lease.

In addition to these first two lettings, Seaforth and Quadreal said there is currently 148,000 sq ft of tenant demand “in the space planning process” across the 260,000 sq ft Grade II listed property.

Tyler Goodwin (pictured), CEO of Seaforth Land, said: “These lettings underline how Space House speaks to the growing demand for distinct, authentic and well-located office space in Central London. Combining a stunning brutalist façade, a raw-characterful interior and the bars, theatres and restaurants of Covent Garden, Space House is the right building for the modern world of work.”

Jay Kwan, managing director of QuadReal Europe, added: “Space House is one of the most ambitious redevelopments in London and demonstrates that it is possible to offer innovative, modern workspaces by breathing new life into listed buildings while preserving its unique heritage and minimizing the carbon footprint.”

CBRE and Savills are office letting agents at Space House and Bruce Gillingham Pollard is the retail and leisure agent.
