SEGRO has appointed Ben Quarrie as development director in its national markets team.
Quarrie most recently led the delivery of complex projects across several sites for St Modwen Logistics and prior to that he worked for National Grid supporting the disposal of brownfield industrial sites across the Midlands, South of England and Wales.
In his new role, he will report into Dan Holford, head of national markets, and be responsible for delivering pre-let and speculative development opportunities from the company’s existing land bank. He will also be involved in identifying new land opportunities.
Holford said: “Ben’s extensive experience in the industry and proven track record of delivery across the development cycle will be invaluable to the team as we continue to expand our portfolio and identify new opportunities.”
Quarrie added: “I am thrilled to be joining SEGRO at such a pivotal time for the industry. SEGRO’s reputation and commitment to sustainable investment is an opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the future of industrial real estate, driving innovation and contribute to the broader economic development in the UK.”
