Selwood has secured an industrial outdoor storage (IOS) facility in Stoke-on-Trent via the assignment of an existing lease.
The modern logistics and IOS facility, which features multiple offices, operational buildings and advanced equipment, extends to circa seven acres of secure IOS and includes a circa 30,000 sq ft industrial unit.
The site, which is located adjacent to the A500/A53 interchange, also benefits from Type 1B concrete surfacing, supporting heavy plant operations and HGV movements, and features 98 trailer bays, 42 tractor unit bays and 105 car parking spaces.
Ashley Wheelhouse, group property manager at Selwood, which is part of The Workdry Group, said: “We are delighted to have secured this strategically important site as we progress The Workdry Group’s property strategy with the support of The Workdry Group leadership team and Arcus, our investment partner. This high spec, sought-after and well-located facility will ensure we can support customers with integrated water solutions solving their challenges. The new site also celebrates and showcases our new brand and supports our long-term growth plans across the UK.”
Tom Bradley, from Carter Jonas, which advised Selwood on the deal, added: “Opportunities to secure well-appointed IOS sites at this scale and specification are exceptionally rare. With its combination of high quality infrastructure, strong transport links and substantial capacity, the site is ideally positioned to support Selwood’s evolving operations and national expansion plans. We are extremely pleased to have supported Selwood and to have played a role in creating new opportunities at this highly valuable IOS site.”
