Hillcrest PERE has let the 9,0000 sq ft sixth floor of Arkwright House in Parsonage Gardens, Manchester, to CMap.
The software business is relocating to the scheme from its existing space in a WeWork centre following a comprehensive refurbishment of Arkwright House led by Hillcrest PERE, with Falcon Rock acting as asset manager.
Significant investment has been made into the building’s common areas and occupier amenities, including a reimagined Art Deco inspired reception, upgraded communal spaces and the introduction of a gym, studio and treatment room.
There are currently three fully-fitted, turn-key office suites available to let at Arkwright ranging from 2,884 sq ft to 5,554 sq ft.
Jamie Mount, from Hilcrest PERE, said: “We are delighted to have agreed a letting to CMap at Arkwright House. Working with our expert designers and delivery team we are now creating a bespoke, fully furnished office of almost 9,000 sq ft exactly as CMap’s business requires and look forward to welcoming them to Arkwright in July.”
Jon Stead, CEO of CMap, added: “As CMap continues to scale, it was important that we invested in a long-term home that reflects both our ambition and our culture. Arkwright gives us the space, quality and flexibility to grow together as a team, while creating an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work, collaborating and delivering for our customers.”
Jonathan Cook, director in Colliers’ Manchester national offices team, which advised CMap on the letting and is joint letting agent on the building alongside Edwards Property Consultants, said: “We are proud to act on behalf of CMap in securing their next office, delivering a workplace solution aligned with their brand, operational requirements, and future ambitions. Such a fast-growth business required a proactive landlord with best-in-class space to attract the very best talent.”
