Housebuilder Spitfire Homes has acquired a 9.9-acre site within the grounds of the historic Impney Estate in Droitwich Spa, on which it intends to deliver a new residential development.
The site, which is located adjacent to the iconic hall, formerly known as Chateau Impney, will provide 127 new homes in a collection known as Little Impney.
The scheme will comprise a mix of one- to five-bedroom detached, semi-detached and terraced residences, as well as maisonettes and refurbished apartments.
Spitfire’s plans for the site also include the retention and sensitive refurbishment of Pillon’s Villa, which will be transformed into two apartments.
Matt Vincent, operations director at Spitfire Homes, said: “Little Impney represents a significant addition to our growing portfolio and reinforces our continued commitment to expanding Spitfire’s presence across the Midlands and further developing our Bespoke Collection. The Impney Estate provides a remarkable setting and an opportunity to showcase our renowned architectural flair, drawing inspiration from its heritage to create a collection that complements the historic surroundings. We’re incredibly proud to be investing in Droitwich Spa and look forward to bringing our vision for Little Impney to life.”
