Strettons has launched a new managed office solution that enables landlords to operate their properties as flexible workspaces.
The Strettons Select service is built around a direct leasing agreement between landlord and tenant, allowing landlords to retain ownership of the relationship, with Strettons providing the expertise to deliver a turnkey product to tenants.
Two offices, 1–3 Sun Street in the City of London (pictured) and the fourth floor at 33 Great Sutton Street in Shoreditch, have already been delivered under the new model.
To strengthen its offering to the occupier market, Strettons has appointed Nick Jones as head of flexible workspace. Jones has more than a decade of experience in the London office market, having advised on serviced, managed and leased acquisitions for occupiers ranging from early-stage businesses through to NHS trusts and private equity-backed firms. Prior to joining Strettons he ran his own advisory platform, Egerton Jones.
Tom Schwier, director at Strettons, said: “Strettons is uniquely positioned to help landlords respond to changing occupier demands. By combining our agency and property management capabilities, and working alongside landlords, we can deliver high quality sustainable workspaces, fit for the modern market. This will attract more occupiers, improve returns and provide an effective and economical option to brokers.”
Jones added: “The flexible workspace market continues to evolve rapidly, and occupiers are increasingly looking for advice that cuts across traditional leasing, managed solutions and serviced space. Strettons has a strong presence across Shoreditch, the City fringe, North London and increasingly the City itself, and I’m delighted to be joining the business to build out a more joined-up approach for tenants.”
