Global media company Tastemade International has taken 3,144 sq ft at Paper Mill Studios in Islington, north London.

The company, which creates video content and original programming, has agreed a four-year lease of the four-storey building at an annual rent of £225,288. There is a tenant only break clause at the end of year two.

The lower ground, ground and first floors of Paper Mill Studios, which is located a short walk from Angel and Old Street underground stations, have been allocated for E class office use with the second floor for C3 residential use.

The property was recently restored and comprises high-spec open plan commercial space arranged over four floors, with warehouse style features and a roof terrace.

Oli Cohen, partner at BELCOR, who acted for a private client on the leasing deal, said: “We’re thrilled to see such an innovative, global brand take possession of this exquisitely restored property. Paper Mill Studios attracted high levels of interest from creative, tech and media enterprises won over by the property’s attractive, adaptable and flexible spaces within a prime city location.”
