Town Centre Securities (TCS) has submitted plans for a 1,110-student bed development at the Merrion Centre in Leeds – on a site previously consented for office development.
The proposals will see two new buildings created offering studios and cluster bedroom accommodation, in addition to residents’ lounges, co-working spaces, meeting spaces, a cinema, gym and karaoke room.
In addition to converting the 1960s built 13-storey Wade House office building, TCS intends to deliver a new 35-storey tower on the site of 100MC, which was previously consented as a new build office scheme.
