Orchard Street Investment Management has leased 6,500 sq ft to UK-headquartered technology company Arm at 10 Templeback, Bristol.
Arm employs nearly 6,000 people worldwide and its new Bristol office is the company’s first in the South West.
Gary Campbell, executive vice president, central engineering at Arm, said: “Arm is committed to attracting the world’s very best engineers, who have a passion for working on technologies that are building the future of computing. Bristol is a fantastic city brimming with engineering talent, and our new offices at 10 Templeback will provide a bright, fully fitted, and collaborative space in an ideal location as we continue to grow our team in the city.”
Alex Hardwick, asset manager at Orchard Street, added: “We were able to offer Arm a fully fitted, flexible product that had only just recently completed and is testament to the quality of the space and the building. We look forward to working with Arm as they grow into the space.”
Seonaid Butler, of CSquared, who acted on behalf of the landlord, said: “Tech has undoubtedly been one of the fastest growing sectors in Bristol over the last five years and the city now boasts many notable tech giants and unicorns, largely down to its fantastic universities and the skilled workers that the city attracts. Orchard Street will shortly commence the refurbishment of 22,000 sq ft on the fourth floor of the building, alongside a comprehensive redesign of the reception and installation of a new shower block.
