Tribeca Holdings has secured planning consent for a residential development at 90 Sloane Avenue in London.
Designed by Darling Associates, the heritage-led scheme, which will sit on the corner Sloane Avenue, Draycott Avenue and Brompton Road, will replace a dated 1960s block.
The scheme will comprise 24 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and an 8,100 sq ft flagship retail unit targeted at a global luxury brand.
The newly constructed building will retain 15% of the existing structure and achieve 33% lower lifecycle carbon emissions over 60 years compared with the refurbishment option consented in 2023.
Rupert Calvert, project director at Darling Associates, said: “Designing beside a celebrated landmark like the iconic Michelin Building required a meticulous and sensitive approach. Our design complements the historic context while delivering an elegant, contemporary building that meets the highest sustainability standards.”
