Vistry and Kier get green light for Saffron Waldon residential scheme

Vistry Group and joint venture partner Kier Property have secured planning consent for a new residential development in Saffron Waldon. 

The development will provide 22 affordable homes, comprising six shared ownership and 16 affordable rental homes, and 33 private homes alongside landscaped green spaces.

Construction is due to begin within the next month with the first completions expected by June 2026.

Peter Willis, managing director at Vistry eastern Home Counties, said: “We are very pleased to have received reserved matters consent for this fantastic new development in Saffron Waldon. This is a key step forward in delivering much-needed new homes in Saffron Waldon and is testament to the strong collaborative partnership between Vistry, our JV partner Kier and Uttlesford District Council.
