Watkin Jones has agreed a deal to deliver 295 new homes in St Helens on behalf of affordable housing provider Torus.
The new scheme will be partly funded by Homes England and will result in the regeneration of a brownfield site, which forms part of a wider masterplan.
The initial phases of the masterplan are already under construction by third parties and the next phase of the scheme will see Watkin Jones deliver 295 new two-, three- and four-bedroom family homes, in addition to mews-type properties and apartments, across a mix of affordable tenures.
Upon completion, Torus will manage the development, which is located within walking distance of St Helens’ town centre.
