Zedwell has secured planning consent to transform the Trafalgar Buildings in Central London into a new 387-room hotel.
The collection of historic properties, which are located adjacent to Trafalgar Square, will provide more than 88,000 sq ft of accommodation, with the hotel rooms featuring advanced acoustic insulation and purified air systems.
The approved proposals will reimagine the three interconnected buildings, two of which are Grade II listed, through a heritage-led, retrofit-first approach that preserves their historic façades while introducing a low-impact modern hotel.
