Avison Young has appointed Newcastle City Council’s former head of property Paul Stewart as a director.
Prior to working for the council, Stewart was head of asset management at igloo Regeneration, leading strategic asset management for a mixed-use portfolio and contributing to major regeneration schemes in Sunderland and Newcastle.
In his new role, he will primarily reinforce the agency and advisory offer in the national offices team and help to drive Avison Young’s presence in the market.
