Occupier experience platform Locale added more than 3.6m sq ft of residential, commercial and mixed-use UK real estate to its platform in the first six months of 2023 – a five-year high for the company.
In its latest PropTech Perspectives Report, the company said it had seen a 15% increase in residential properties on the platform, with key appointments including the King’s Cross estate in London, R+ in Reading and 3 and 4 Piccadilly Place in Manchester.
Locale added it had seen an increase of active users of the platform across the board with the largest jump being the adoption of mobile apps with a 31% increase in H1 2023 year-on-year.
The company spent the first half of the year restructuring the business and consolidating its sub brands (Locale Look and Life) to create a “simple offering under a refreshed” Locale brand.
