Sellar has secured planning permission from Southwark Council for a purpose built student accommodation (PBSA) led mixed-use development.
King’s Place will offer 444 student homes, eight affordable homes for local key workers and 1,850 sq m (circa 19,900 sq ft) of flexible work and retail space, including a corner café on Borough High Street and a new pocket park on Harper Road.
The building will be all-electric and Sellar is aiming for a minimum BREEAM Excellent rating for the development, which is currently on track to be BREEAM Outstanding.

Morris+Company is the architect, DP9 acted as planning consultant and Savills advised on funding.
