HBD is poised to submit a planning application for a £140m GDV sustainable office scheme in the St John’s district of Manchester city centre.
The developer is targeting BREEAM Excellent and a NABERS UK 5.5 rating for the 200,000 sq ft net zero carbon Colloco office scheme.
The EPR Architects-designed 16-storey building will front onto the corner of New Quay Street and Gartside Street, on the edge of Spinningfields and St John’s, at the former home of LTE Group’s Manchester college.
In addition to sustainable Grade A workspace, the building will feature a roof pavilion with events space and a landscaped garden terrace offering views across the city.

The project team includes Arcadis, EPR Architects, Asteer Planning, Curtins, Hoare Lea and Ramboll.
