Chancerygate has submitted plans to speculatively build a 105,000 sq ft Grade A urban logistics and industrial scheme in Southwater near Horsham, West Sussex.
The scheme, which is being built on a 4.59-acre site formerly used by Sony as a manufacturing and logistics hub, will comprise seven freehold units ranging from 8,325 sq ft to 33,940 sq ft and has a gross development value of circa £27m.
The units will feature EV charging points, solar cells, enhanced roof lighting to increase levels of natural daylight and will be constructed from high-performance building materials to reduce CO2 emissions.
Chancerygate is targeting EPC B and BREEAM Very Good as a minimum for the Southwater Business Park scheme, which is located approximately four miles south of Horsham.
