Tom Nuttall will take on the role of head of UK valuation and advisory at Cushman & Wakefield from the start of 2024.
Nutall, an international partner who joined the firm as a graduate surveyor in 2006, will succeed Karen Clements, who is retiring at the end of the year.
He joined the firm as a graduate surveyor in 2006 and was most recently head of Cushman & Wakefield’s specialist markets valuation and advisory team covering the valuation of healthcare, living, life sciences, PBSA, self-storage, hospitality, infrastructure and alternative asset types.
George Roberts, head of UK and Ireland at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Both Karen and I are delighted that Tom has been able to develop his career with us and progress all the way from graduate to becoming head of our UK valuation and advisory business. His appointment reflects our belief in the strength of our valuation and advisory proposition and the importance of extending our valuation services to cover non-traditional asset types which is key to supporting the strategies of many of our clients.
“Karen has made an outstanding contribution during her time with the firm, not only through her leadership roles but also through her contribution to the wider firm – notably as chair of our Inspire DEI programme – and will leave with our best wishes for the future.”
Nuttall added: “Karen has done a wonderful job and I feel an enormous sense of pride to be taking up the reins from her. We have market-leading valuation and advisory teams with the sector knowledge and experience to support our clients in making informed decisions. We have ambitious plans for the future and I’m looking forward to working with this talented team to deliver them.”
