Stoford has submitted a planning application for a 136,100 sq ft unit at Andover Business Park on behalf of stairlift manufacturer Stannah.

The unit will be built on a circa 10-acre plot to the north of the business park, adjacent to Stannah’s recently completed 90,000 sq ft factory.

Edward Peel, director at Stoford, said: “We are excited to put forward plans for the second phase of development of Stannah’s new campus at Andover Business Park. We’ve already worked in partnership to successfully deliver a high quality, sustainable unit as part of phase one and are excited by the potential to develop a new warehouse/distribution unit on the adjacent plot. It will not only support Stannah’s future growth but sustain valuable manufacturing jobs in Andover.”

Jon Stannah, managing director of Stannah Group, added: “We are delighted to be working with Stoford again to secure planning for our second unit at Andover Business Park. The additional space will support our global expansion, seeing ever more Andover-made stairlifts exported around the globe.”
