Prologis has acquired an 8.66-acre regeneration site at Trafford Park in Greater Manchester for an undisclosed price.
Located on Barton Dock Road, the site sits within Trafford Park, one of Europe’s largest and most established industrial estates. Prologis intends to regenerate the site into an all-electric 200,000 sq ft modern, sustainable facility and is targeting BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A+ ratings for the development.
Prologis is forward-planning further investment across the North West region through new development, regeneration and acquisition to develop up to 5m sq ft of prime logistics space. This new investment is in addition to the £5.6bn the company has invested in the UK over the past decade and the £5.5bn Prologis intends to invest.
