Gleeds has appointed Salar Farzad as chief finance and operating officer (CFOO) as part of a global restructure designed to streamline decision making and accelerate the company’s growth.
Salar has held the position of interim CFO at Gleeds since March. His new role will see him “spearhead a realignment of core functions, bringing multiple entities under one umbrella”.
Graham Harle, CEO at Gleeds, said: “I am determined that Gleeds is able to move forward with a structure that allows us to harness our independence and to better serve our clients in an ever-changing market – ensuring agility, resilience and responsiveness. Our new CFOO, Salar Farzad brings with him a wealth of experience – not only in the financial sphere – and alongside myself and the executive management board, will be instrumental in delivering the new organisational framework.”
As part of the restructure Douglas McCormick – currently group executive director – and Steven Mason – currently regional managing director, London – will leave the business to pursue new opportunities.
