Michelin-starred restaurateurs Claude Bosi and Lucy Bosi are opening a new French bistro at Sloane Stanley’s 315 Fulham Road at the end of January.

The 76-cover space, which is named Josephine after Claude’s late grandmother, will serve French bistro classics and regional Lyonnaise specialities.

Claude Bosi said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring a little piece of Lyon to Chelsea with the opening of Josephine. This restaurant is a very personal project for us, an ode to my grandmother and the traditional bouchons of Lyon that have always held a special place in our hearts. With Josephine, we hope to create a welcoming space that we hope locals, Londoners, and friends from afar will want to keep coming back to. We can’t wait to open our doors and share this special restaurant with the community.”

Hannah Grievson, property director at Sloane Stanley, added: “The chef Claude Bosi and his new concept Josephine will be a fantastic dining addition to the Fulham Road, bringing a personal touch and breadth of experience to our growing offer. Situated in a prominent corner of our estate, his new Lyonnaise cuisine will suit the international catchment we attract in the area and has the potential to bring in new visitors from further afield. We look forward to welcoming Josephine to the Sloane Stanley Estate and will support and nurture to ensure its success as it elevates our F&B line up for the Chelsea neighbourhood.”
