Pan-European real estate investment manager Boreal IM has recruited Johana Ruiz from Mileway as vice president.
At Mileway, Ruiz, who has more than 15 years’ development and asset management experience, oversaw the development and project management of Blackstone’s logistics platform in France.
In her new role, she will support the development and project management of a 900,000 sq m+ portfolio of standing assets and 200,000 sq m of developments in the UK, Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy.
The portfolio, which is currently valued at €1.3bn, is a joint venture between Boreal IM and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
