Newmark Group has hired Matthew Featherstone from CBRE as head of debt and structured finance for the UK and Europe.
Featherstone, who has nearly 20 years’ of finance experience spanning various real estate sub-sectors, served as executive director, debt and structured finance, capital advisors at CBRE.
In his new role, he will be based in Newmark’s Grosvenor Street office in London and he will help to advance the firm’s end-to-end capital markets services across the UK and Europe.
Featherstone will work closely with Charlie Foster who was recently hired by Newmark affiliate Cantor Fitzgerald Europe to head up the real estate investment banking group.
