Multi-let industrial property company Sandyford Properties has let three vacant units totalling 70,000 sq ft at Deeside Industrial Park, near Chester.
Specialist commercial vehicle engineering company Astra Vehicle Technologies has taken all the units on a 15-year lease. The company is relocating from its current premises in Ellesmere Port to scale up production of Iveco gas-powered trucks.
Sandyford acquired the properties, which are located on a 4-acre site, in September 2023 from the former owner of DRB Group.

We are looking forward to welcoming Astra Vehicle Technologies and its team to the Sandyford portfolio and supporting the business as it continues to expand.”
John Chadderton, chief executive officer of Astra Vehicle Technologies, added: “Relocating to Deeside Industrial Park provides us with the flexible space we need in order to support the drive to net zero.
