Carter Jonas has launched a new office in Manchester as part of the company’s wider expansion plans for the North West region.

The new office, which is located at Bloc on Spring Gardens in the city centre, is the firm’s first site in Manchester and its second in the region.

Harry Bolton (pictured) – who joins Carter Jonas from CBRE – will lead the eight-strong multi-disciplinary team as a partner and head of planning and development in Manchester.

He will work alongside Matt Lee – the company’s head of science and technology – and Carter Jonas colleagues in Warrington and Leeds on the company’s current mandates while exploring opportunities to grow the business across the North West.

Richard Bruce, chief executive of Carter Jonas, said: “Carter Jonas’ expansion into Manchester is an exciting development in our strategic growth, as we reinforce our presence in core markets and regions. Manchester, with its rich legacy of innovation and collaboration, continues to embrace new technologies and advancements, upholding its reputation as a world-leading city.

“Having established strong foundations in the region, we are pleased to set up an office in the heart of Manchester. Harry and Matt have an exceptional network of contacts and comprehensive market knowledge. From our new space, we can fulfil current mandates whilst pursuing opportunities requiring on-the-ground support.”

Bolton added: “I’m really excited by the opportunity to grow Carter Jonas’ business in Manchester and bolster our proposition across the North West of England and North Wales. Matt and I have been working to develop our approach, building on the firm’s success.

“We’re looking forward to creating an ambitious, capable and collaborative team, bringing together individuals with a deep understanding of the area and its real estate requirements, committed to meeting client needs and contributing to the region’s vibrant and dynamic environment.”
