Social impact company Wagestream has let the entirety of Stevens Properties’ 17,000 sq ft The Garage office building in Rathbone Street, London, for its new UK HQ.

According to market sources, Wagestream has signed a 10-year deal with a five-year break at £100/sq ft.

The Garage was built in 1905 and was originally home to Albion Motor Car Company as its London depot, serving until the 1920s as offices, showrooms and a repair garage for vehicles made in Scotland.

The building was recently redesigned by White Red Architects, which restored its original identity and combined it with a highly contemporary workplace design, delivering office space over five floors as well as new roof terrace areas. The Garage has just been nominated for a BCO award.

Alex Stevens, from Stevens Properties, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Wagestream to The Garage and thank Bluebook for their expertise in leading the design and the marketing which was instrumental in the successful outcome for the building.”

Stevens Properties was advised by Bluebook and Wagestream was represented by CBRE.
