Network Space Developments (NSD) has submitted a planning application for up to 75,175 sq ft of multi-let industrial space on a 2.8-acre site on Welcomb Street in Openshaw.
The full planning application for the former Manchester College site, which currently comprises several redundant buildings, includes the demolition of the existing properties and the construction of four sustainable commercial units ranging from 7,674 sq ft to 29,439 sq ft.
Designed by AEW Architects, the scheme offers ancillary office space at first floor, generous external service yards, dedicated car parking and EV charging points.

Subject to planning, work is expected to start on site in 2025. Spawforths is advising NSD on planning and the agents for the proposed scheme are Cushman & Wakefield and JLL.
