Work has completed on Kadans Science Partner’s MAYDE, 5-10 Brandon Road life sciences facility in the heart of London’s Knowledge Quarter.
The 114,000 sq ft development provides high-spec laboratories, light industrial spaces, offices and communal areas over five storeys.
The development involved the demolition of existing facilities and the creation of a new building featuring a double-height reception, mezzanine, barista bar, single-level basement with plant space, cycle storage and tenant amenities.
The project team comprised David Miller Architects, construction company Morgan Sindall and HDR, which provided comprehensive civil and structural design and geo-environmental services.
