Gatehouse Living Group has appointed James Sarmecanic as the company’s new group finance director.
Sarmecanic, who has more than 25 years’ experience of corporate finance in the real estate sector, was most recently co-founder and chief financial officer of RCVP Retirement Living, which was sold in 2023.
He began his career at Operis before running the financial planning and analysis team at Mapeley. Sarmecanic then set up a financial advisory business where he provided real estate financing consultancy services to corporate clients.
