Muse has received planning consent for the final phases of its £145m Stockport Exchange development.
The remaining phases will include an additional 185,000 sq ft of Grade A office space and potentially up to 100 residential apartments to be delivered in the final phase.
Muse will now look to bring forward 4 Stockport Exchange, which will comprise 60,000 sq ft of office space and ground floor retail and F&B space. The building has been designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent, EPC A and WELL Gold ratings.
Colin MacAlister, cabinet member for economy and regeneration at Stockport Council, said: “Stockport Exchange has been a popular choice for a diverse range of businesses and it’s good news that we now have future phases in the pipeline, to attract even more businesses, as well as creating employment opportunities and a range of good quality amenities. This latest milestone is a significant achievement with the potential to also provide much needed homes in a highly accessible location.”
