CBRE has promoted Bruce Robertson to the role of head of UK industrial and logistics sector.
Robertson has led the company’s European supply chain advisory team since joining CBRE seven years ago. Prior to that, he was head of performance transformation at The Linde Group and was also a member of the group’s UK operating board.
In his new role, he will work closely with CBRE’s existing 80-strong industrial and logistics markets team to further accelerate growth and ensure a differentiated go-to-market strategy for the sector.
Robertson said: “I look forward to harnessing my industrial client-side experience in my new role as head of sector. We see there being a long-term positive outlook for the UK logistics market, with prime rental growth above pre-pandemic averages and resilient occupier demand, which is in turn fueling investment activity.
“Our research shows investors across Europe are eyeing logistics as one of the leading sectors for capital deployment, and I look forward to working with the team to further develop CBRE’s market position.”
