PLP has appointed William Sprott as the company’s new head of investment management.

Sprott, who has more than 15 years of industry experience, held the position of executive director of investment banking and strategic advisery at Sera Global (now part of CBRE) prior to joining PLP, and before that he was general manager of investment and head of corporate development for Charter Hall Group.

In his new role, he will be responsible for managing the company’s relationships with its capital partners and the formation of new managed vehicles, including capital allocation and liquidity solutions.

Neil Dickinson, chief investment officer at PLP, said: “We are excited to welcome William to our team. His proven track record in building and scaling real estate investment management platforms will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and grow. Attracting a professional with his experience and capability is testament to both the business we have built to date and our ambition for further strategic growth.

“This company remains uniquely positioned to originate and deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns for its capital partners – in turn creating further opportunity for PLP to grow and diversify its operations, investor base, and assets under management.”
